Women’s Football Try-outs

O.k. So, you are a lady, and you love football. You’ve always thought that you could play if you had the chance. Well, now you do! The Lone Star Mustangs, a women’s professional, tackle football team, are holding try-outs on three different occasions beginning on October 3, 2009.

Twins Inspire Each Other

It was a hot day on Saturday, May 30, 2009 when I strolled over to Boomerjack’s Grill in Bedford after the Lone Star Mustangs game. I was hoping to catch up with some of the ladies on the team and find out more about them. One of the first ladies I met at the game was Kelsey Korywchak.

Mustangs Win Final Game

The Lone Star Mustangs completed a very successful innaugural season with a three game sweep of the H-Town Cyclones on Saturday night, 31-0. The victory gives the Mustangs their sixth victory of the year.

Mustangs Outpace the Outlaws

It was a warm, breezy Saturday afternoon at Pennington Field in Bedford, TX as the Lone Star Mustangs hosted the Austin Outlaws in the third meeting between the two teams this season. The Outlaws won the first two meetings leaving the Mustangs hungry to pick up the win as they are fighting to make the playoffs in their first season.
