Garland Aztecs still looking for players

We visited with Kim Clark, the head coach of the Garland Aztecs, on the dfwfootball radio show Tuesday night, and he indicated that the Aztecs are still looking for players.

Clark said in an email:

We are looking for QB’s, and lineman to complete what we think is a going to be a very good team in the MPFL. We now have a full coaching staff, trainers and a premiere home field. Please contact me, the head coach for more inforation and practice times.

The Aztecs will be playing in the MPFL.

Dallas Defenders will hold tryouts in January

Tryouts begin Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Trinity Christian Academy, 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

  • Must be full-time police officer, firefighter or detention officer in order to be eligible to play in National Public Safety Football League.
  • The Dallas Defenders won the Southwest Region Championship in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
  • In 2010, the Defenders played in the National Championship game in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • All proceeds from the football games are donated to local charities.

Arlington Bulldogs Try-Outs

The Arlington Bulldogs will be hosting Try-Outs starting this Saturday, October 1st @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and Sunday, October 2nd @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

If you can’t make try-outs this weekend and your still interested in being apart of the Bulldog Family we will be having try-outs every Saturday and Sunday during the entire month of October.

You must be 18 years of age to attend the try-outs. You must dress comfortable and wear cleats or good running shoes. There is a $ 40.00 try-out fee (cash or money order only) and the fee must be paid at the time of try-outs.

Try-Outs will be held at Ferguson Junior High School – 600 S. E. Greenoaks Blvd, Arlington, TX. 76018

The Dallas Warhawks will be one of the newest teams in the Minor Professional Football League in 2012.  We received an email from Warhawk management with a call to players in the Dallas-Fort Worth area:
