According to Will Williams, president of the Regional Indoor Football League, the league’s first player has already moved up. Hakeem Rittig, a 6-foot-6, 380 pound offensive/defensive linemen for the West Texas Rustlers, has been invited to the Dallas Vigilantes’ training camp.
Williams has a production company that is handling the practice and game-day filming for the AFL team and says this relationship is good for the RIFL teams. “We have the opportunity to get talent seen,” he said by email, “and as a league, that is the main focus of our teams.”
