The Fort Worth Lady Avengers dance team hosted their first audition for the 2010 season on Saturday, August 29, 2009. According to dance team director, Mele Watts, the Lady Avengers were able to select five girls for next year’s team.
The Lady Avengers will hold other auditions in the future.
Among the girls who showed up were dancers from North Lake College in Irving. Several of the girls are students at the nearby college and heard about the auditions via word-of-mouth.
